Ergonomidesign is back in Copenhagen, Denmark, to participate and to proudly contribute at the seminars and workshops, "Design and user involvement as a strategic tool in the medical industry", organised by the Dansk Design Center (Danish Design Centre) and Medicoindustrien (Medical industry) on March 4th 2010.
Ergonomidesign is on-site, both to hold a seminar and a workshop. The seminar, which is held by Industrial Designer, Mr. Daniel Höglund and Ergonomist, Mr. Fredrik Ericsson, will be about "Design research - an unsurpassed way to uncover latent needs and unspoken knowledge". Thereafter, Mr. Höglund, Mr. Ericsson and Director of Life Science, Ms. Liselott Silvhed will hold a workshop on the above topic and the importance of understanding the end-user's real needs and demands behind a product.
The focus of the seminar and workshop is on design and innovation in the medical industry.The one-day event will give insight as to how the medical industry could use design actively during product development. Also, the importance of design in relation to user-friendliness and patient safety will be covered. Relevant medical cases where design makes a difference will be shown, also introducing participants who actively are working on methods for user involvement.
